SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, August 10, two men were hospitalized after a shooting near the steps of a Bart Station near 24th and Mission Streets.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the shooting was reported at around 10:15 p.m. Both male victims were not found outside the Bart Station where the shooting is believed to have occurred. According to reports, the victims ran after hearing gunshots erupt.

One of the victims was found at 24th and Mission Street. The other victim was found near 24th Street and South Van Ness Avenue. Both victims were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The names of the victims have not yet been released to the public.

Based on the preliminary investigation, police suspect the perpetrators fired from inside a vehicle. As of print, authorities have not released any details concerning the suspects or a description of their vehicle.
