HOLLYWOOD—Singer Alicia Keys and her husband, hip-hop artist Swizz Beatz welcomed their second child together, a baby boy, on December 27. The child’s name is Genesis Ali Dean.
According to a photograph Keys shared via Instagram, Genesis was born at 1:52 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. She captioned the photo, “The joy of joy is joy!! It’s a boy!! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!”
Months ago, Keys shared a photo with Beatz via Instagram alongside a caption that read, “Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !! And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!”
Keys and Beatz tied the knot back in August 2010 and welcomed their first child, Egypt, two months later.
