SAN FRANCISCO—A suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on Fillmore Street on Saturday, March 23. The SFPD indicated that at 8:40 p.m., officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Fillmore Street about a shooting.

After arriving on the scene, officers found four people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Personnel from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and transported three adult victims to local hospitals. The fourth victim, Mister Dee C. Simmons, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Of those transported by ambulance, a 27year-old male was listed in life threatening condition. A 19 year-old male, of Westminster and a 51 year-old male, from San Francisco are listed in non-life threatening condition.

Two additional victims, a 51 year-old female, from Alameda and a 25 year-old male, from Concord (both with non-life threatening injuries) were taken to the hospital by private vehicles.

An investigation determined that Simmons, 25 year-old Sean Harrison (who was transported to the hospital by private auto) and Jamare Coats, 26, of San Francisco (who drove Harrison to the hospital) were involved in the shooting. Harrison and Coats were later booked on homicide and firearms charges at San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, booking photos are not being released at this time.
