My name is Brownie, and I'm a little boy about 10 months old, so I'm still a puppy with a lot of energy! I was found wandering around the street, as so many of us are these days, unfortunately. But I'm lucky to be here at the Friends of Animals Foundation, where I'm being very well cared for until I'm adopted by someone that will love me and take very good care of me, too. 
   Now, I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself, ok?  I get along with other dogs and love people. I also love to go for walks and love to play.  I'm a little bit housetrained, but seeing that I'm very smart - really I am - I know that it won't take long for me to fit in with someone's schedule.

   I guess that I'm a terrier mix of some kind, I'll let you figure that one out! Everyone says that I'm very striking looking with my brown markings, tan eyebrows, and the inquisitive look that I have in my eyes.
   I told you all of the things that I love to do, but one thing that I would love more than anything else is to belong to a person or family that will make me a part of their life forever.
So, won't you please call to see me?  We could spend New Year's eve together!  Wouldn't that be fun?
