BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Andy", and if I look a little sad and bewildered, I have good reason to be. You see, I came within just a few inches of being hit by a car. I had been abandoned, and was running all over the place, and didn't realize that the street was such a dangerous place to be. Lucky for me, a very nice woman saw what a close call I had and managed to grab me in the nick of time. She brought me to the Friends of Animals Foundation where she told me that I would be safe and well taken care of until a loving home could be found for me. So, as you can see, here I am. Everyone wonders how anyone could have abandoned me, but, unfortunately, I'm just one of many that are abandoned these days.
I don't know for sure how old I am, but I don't think that I'm more than two or three. I've made a lot of doggie friends here, and get along just fine with all of them. The volunteers are giving me lots of cuddle time and walks, and I'm not complaining one bit!! l must say that I love all of the attention!
So, whether I'm the only dog, or if you have another one or two, that would be just fine with me. If there are children, well, I would prefer that they be older -- just because. If there is a single person, or a couple that would like me to be part of their life, that would be just fine, too. All that I ask of you is to love me and never abandon me, as you can be sure that I will never abandon you, and that I will love you with all of my heart!
I'll be waiting to hear those words, "someone is coming to see "Andy" this afternoon"! So, won't you please call and make those words come true? However, just in case I'm not the one for you, you can see all of my doggie and kittie friends that are also waiting to hear those words, if you go to: foafla.petfinder.com. Or, if you would like to be a volunteer, that's a very good way to meet all of us! We'll be waiting for your calls!
