BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Rubi”, and I’ve heard people around here ask, “who’s that cute little Terrier with the wild hair?”. Well, I had no idea that they were talking about me, as I’ve never seen myself. I really had no idea that I had wild hair, and that I was cute. So, I’ll leave that up to you.
   Seeing that everyone makes such a fuss over me, I don’t know why someone would abandon me. Especially, since I have so many good qualities - really I do! I’ll tell you all of them in a minute, but first I want you to know that I’m about one or two years old, and that I don’t weigh any more than ten pounds. So, that means that I can sit on your lap and hardly make a dent!
   Now, let me tell you all of my good points. First of all, I get along great with both dogs and cats. So, if you have any that are part your family, already, I’ll fit right in, and it will be no problem at all. I also get along with children of all ages. So, no problem there, either.
   I’m not aggressive in any way. I don’t guard my possessions, so will never growl or show my teeth if you try to take something away from me. I’m not a barker, jumper, or digger, and I won’t even be upset if you have to leave me for a few hours. I know that there are times that you have to do things like shop for my food, or new toys, or maybe even get something for yourself! Oh, in case you're wondering, yes, I’m housetrained, too! I know that no one is perfect, but I don't think that I have any bad habits. Anyway, I can’t think of any at the moment. So, I hope that you will call to see me, and you can judge for yourself.
   Okay, so you want a big dog, or one that you won’t have to brush, or a kitty cat? I’ll tell you what to do. Just look on the FOAF website, which is: foafla.petfinder.com and you'll see all of my friends that are here with me. Or, maybe you would just like to volunteer. That would be great, too! We always need people to take us for walks, or to help in the cattery. Anyone fourteen years or older is more than welcome!! So, won’t you give a call?
