SAN FRANCISCO Daniel Dennard, 23 years old, was fatally shot Saturday night while riding his motorcycle near San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood on July 19.

Dennard was driving on Bayshore Boulevard and Industrial Street when a suspect in a vehicle pulled up behind the motorcycle and proceeded to get out of his vehicle and shoot Dennard.

San Francisco Police were identified at 7:20 p.m. and said that the victim was critically injured.

Dennard was immediately taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died shortly after arrival.

An investigation is still pending.  Anyone with information is urged to call the San Francisco Police Department.  The suspect is known to have fled the scene traveling north on Bayshore Boulevard, but identity or recent whereabouts are currently unknown.

The San Francisco medical examiner, Stephen Gelmen, said that Dennard’s name was not originally released due to notification of family members.
