SAN FRANCISCO
—A Redwood City teen was killed this week. Though the motive for the slaying has yet to be determined, it is believed that the incident occurred after the teen and another teen got into a heated argument at a plaza that is adjacent to McCovey Cove.

Anthony Giraudo, 18, was leaving a baseball game at AT&T Park, when he was punched in the head. Subsequently, he fell and hit his head on the concrete ground. It was also reported that Giraudo's father believed the incident took place after his son was offended by something someone had said to a female acquaintance.

The main suspect in this homicide is Taylor Buckley, also 18, from San Carlos. Although Buckley was arrested the day of the incident on charges of assault, he was able to make bail and was released. According to media reports, Buckley turned himself in after having a $1 million arrest warrant out on his name, but he has not yet been charged. The incident occurred Friday evening at 10:30 p.m. before the end of the baseball game. If Buckley is charged, he will face involuntary manslaughter.

Buckley is a senior in high school. Giraudo was a recent high school graduate and college student. The San Francisco police could not provide any further comment on the incident.
