HOLLYWOOD—Memorial Day is now over and we have the whole summer to enjoy until Labor Day weekend. Summer is like that favorite tank top you’ve been dying to pull out of the closet. It looks adorable on its own, however, a few extra accessories would take that baby to a whole new level. This summer it’s going to be a tangerine crush, from dusty corals to blood orange to mint green, summer arrives with an eye-catching color. Shimmer and shine along with beaded accents, crystal complements and go-go-glitter are the perfect companion to the hot summer nights.

June is a month for brides, proms, Father’s Day, and graduates; and the premiere of “Beverly Hills Pawn,” a docu-series starring store owner Yossi Dina which delves into the values of the

Hollywood memorabilia, the rare high-dollar collectibles and fine jewelry of the rich and famous. The extraordinary stories of the people behind these rare items will kick off on June 5 which will feature four new half hour episodes airing back to back on the ReelzChannel. The new reality show will bring the magic, craziness and glamour of Hollywood in a pawn shop where the world’s elite bring their treasures and stories to either pawn or sell.  Definitely a must-see, even if you’re not a fan of reality shows.

It is also a month where you’ll be hearing more of Demi Lovato. Her fourth album, “Demi,” debuted at the No. 3 position last week of Billboard magazine’s album chart. Her music in her fourth album is radio-friendly, upbeat, and get-up and dance. It showcases pop ballads about love and relationships and hit songs perfectly crafted for Top 40 radio. The 20-year-old will be getting plenty of air time with those hits. Last year her big hit “Give Your Heart a Break” became an instant hit because it correlated as she was appearing as a judge on the hit show “The X Factor.” That song was from her 2011 album “Unbroken,” which was released after her rehab stint a few months later. While she had her other hit “Skyscraper,” it was “Give Your Heart a Break,” that sold 1.9 million tracks.

Lovato did well with her hit song, “Heart Attack,” it went platinum. Some of the hit songs to look forward to are: “Warrior,” Really Don’t Care,” “Without the Love,” and “Neon Lights.” She has been a huge success from being the Disney Channel star to the mainstream pop singer. Demi starred in the Disney movies, ” Camp Rock” and the TV series “Sonny With a Chance.” She was even linked romantically to pop star Joe Jonas of the “Jonas Brothers.” She has been strong throughout her personal heartaches and has reached that superstardom that most Disney stars never reach. She will be returning in the fall to the singing competition “The X Factor,” with Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.

Rose’s Scoop: Even bad press is better than no press. Justin Bieber is being investigated for his reckless driving after receiving two reports of driving at a “startling high rate of speed’ through his gated community in Calabasas, CA, last week, reports TMZ.com. Ironically, at the Billboard Music Awards he said, “He deserves to be taken seriously.” Yes, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office is taking him at his word.
