SHERMAN OAKS—Pop star Justin Bieber is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for an attempted robbery. The LAPD Robbery Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section is conducting an investigation involving the singer that took place at a family entertainment center on Monday, May 12.

The incident in question took place at around 10:30 p.m. between an individual and Mr. Bieber near the batting cages located in the 4900 block of N. Sepulveda Boulevard. Canyon News reached out to the LAPD Media Relations Section, but a spokesperson was unable to divulge any additional details about the case which is still under investigation. Detectives are currently conducting interviews.

The singer is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for an alleged egging incident that occurred at in his former Calabasas neighborhood in January. He was arrested in Miami aarlier this year for driving under the influence.
