SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities from the SFPD have arrested two suspects in the connection to two separate homicides that occurred on July 7. Kenyon Norbert, 22, and Kishawn Norbert, 21 were taken into custody on July 8 by the SFPD Homicide Detail near Third Street in the Bayview region.

The brothers were responsible for the deaths of Willie Cain and Keith Zinn. Mr. Cain was shot and killed on the unit block of Brookdale during the morning hours on July 7. Just a few hours later, Mr. Zinn was shot and killed on the unit block in Ironwood in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The suspects were booked at the San Francisco County Jail on two counts of murder and probation and parole violations. “These arrests are a constructive step forward,” said Supervisor Malia Cohen. “We cannot reverse the tragic deaths that resulted from the shootings, but we will hold the individuals responsible for these events accountable and ensure that the families of the victims get the justice they deserve.”

Authorities are still investigation both cases and have not yet released photos of the suspects. Anyone who may have witnessed something, or with information, is urged to contact San Francisco Police anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
