SAN FRANCISCO —At around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, a car crashed after exiting the freeway on Seventh and Bryant Street.
A speeding blue Acura crashed into two other unoccupied cars. The car had exited Interstate 80 eastbound. At least one of the cars crashed into Caffe Roma, which is on 885 Bryant Street.
Traffic was being directed away from the scene after the crash. The driver was severely injured and taken to the hospital.
There were no other reports of injuries. The café, which is popular amongst those who do jury duty at the courthouse, is closed on weekends.
Police are still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
