SAN FRANCISCO—Officers with the San Francisco Police Department are searching for the suspects responsible for attacking a 79-year-old woman who was the victim of an attempted robbery on Saturday, November 16. 

The victim informed police that a pre-teen was selling jewelry on the 700 block of 21st Avenue between Fulton and Cabrillo Streets around 5 p.m. The incident transpired near Argonne Elementary School. The child was accompanied by an adult woman. 

When the victim refused to purchase jewelry from the child, the suspect ripped the victim’s necklace off of her body. The suspects fled the scene after the victim grabbed her necklace back. No arrests have been made in the case.
