LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Clippers kept their win-streak alive, routing the Brooklyn Nets 127-95 on Monday, November 14.

All-Star Chris Paul led Los Angeles offensively, scoring 21 points and dishing out nine assists. Blake Griffin added 20 points, six rebounds and six assists in the Clippers seventh straight victory. Despite jumping out to a league best 10-1 start to the season, Paul was reluctant to congratulate his team on their early success.

“I hate to say it, but it means absolutely nothing,” Paul said. “10-1 is all good and well, but if you’ve been around the league, it’s not about right now. I think for us, with some of the heartache we’ve had in the postseason, we expect to do this. Every night it’s about getting better and building…It’s about playing the right way and not paying attention to the score. We’ve just got to keep building. It’s not about this game, it’s about us and building.”

The Clippers were able to find efficient shots throughout, making 48 of their 90 field goal attempts. Deandre Jordan scored seven points for Los Angeles and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds. J.J. Redick made two 3-pointers and had 18 points while Jamal Crawford added 17 off of the bench.

Brooklyn struggled to find an offensive rhythm throughout, turning the ball over 22 times in the loss. Second year player Bojan Bogdanovic led the Nets in scoring with 18 points, while Chris McCullough and Yogi Ferrell added 13 each.

The Nets have now lost two straight games and are 4-7 overall, tied with the Orlando Magic for the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference.

Los Angeles will continue their home stand with a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, November 16.
