SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect who made criminal threats. On Wednesday, April 4, the Police Department were alerted by an incident in the city of San Jose involving Dustin Hamilton. Hamilton is known to travel on occasion to the city of San Francisco. On April 6, the SFPD was contacted by community members on the whereabouts of Hamilton.

According to the SFPD website, at approximately 5:57 a.m., SFPD Southern Station officers located the suspect in the area of 4th Street and King Street and took him into custody without incident. He was in possession of two firearms when he was arrested.

SFPD notified San Jose Police Department (SJPD) investigators of the arrest. The SJPD is working with SFPD and is the lead agency on the case for the incidents that happened in San Jose. The suspect was booked at the San Francisco County Jail on multiple warrants out of San Francisco and San Jose. Additional charges may be pending.

The San Francisco Police Department thanked the SJPD and members of the San Francisco community for their assistance in locating Hamilton.
