HOLLYWOOD—Sometimes you want love to last forever. Nothing lasts forever, especially for celebrities. The only love that is forever is the love you have for yourself. Never love another more than yourself. Though it may be hard and it breaks your heart, sometimes letting go is the best thing for you and the other person involved.

It doesn’t mean that you can’t ever find love again. Leaving one love behind will open the door for another to fill its place. That’s how a glass goes from half empty to half full. It shouldn’t be a shocker that Kris Jenner has filed for divorce from her hubby, the Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” matriarch cited irreconcilable differences in documents filed in Los Angeles to end the 22-year marriage.

Their relationship was followed closely on the reality show, along with daughters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. The women and their brother Rob were born during Kris Jenner’s previous marriage to Los Angeles lawyer Robert Kardashian, whom she divorced in 1991.  Kris and Bruce have two children together, Kendall, 18 and Kylie, 17. The divorce petition seeks joint custody of Kylie. Court filings say he and Kris separated on June 1. The divorce was first reported by RadarOnline.com.

The other shocker is that publicly affectionate couple, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are headed for a split. Rose, 30, filed for divorce just this week after just 14 months of marriage, according to TMZ. Here we go again, citing irreconcilable differences; the model is looking to gain full custody of the couple’s son Sebastian, whom they welcomed in February 2013. According to published reports, the breakup is a bitter one, and infidelity may be involved. Rapper Khalifa, 27, proposed to his love back in March 2012, after more than a year of dating. The beautiful model dated Kanye West from 2008 to 2010.

Rappers sure do make millions! Rapper and producer Dr. Dre has ousted Sean “Diddy,” Combs as the top earning hip-hop artist, making $620 million before taxes in the last year. According to Forbe’s, Dr. Dre, 49 had estimated annual earnings between June 2013 and 2014, the highest of any other musician in any genre. Back in May, Dre joined Apple after the $3 billion acquisition of Beats Electronics was completed.

The deal for the headphone and music streaming company is the most expensive acquisition in Apple’s 38-year history. Combs and Jay-Z, both 44, made $60 million each, with earnings from drinks, television and clothing deals. Combs tied for second place with Jay-Z. Drake, 27, came in fourth with $33 million, with his album “Nothing Was the Same,” an endorsement deal with Nike and a concert tour. In fifth place, the Grammy-winning duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with $32 million.

Former record producer and songwriter Phil Spector prison mug shots have been released, which show the toll prison life has taken on the 73-year old. Spector, whose most recent image, from October 2013, shows a bald, somber-looking musician staring into the camera. He is serving 19 years to life in prison for shooting actress Lana Clarkson at his California mansion in 2003. He has always maintained his innocence and claimed Clarkson died from an accidental suicide.

Before his conviction, he was known for his array of wigs he would wear in public during his trials in 2007 and 2008. A 2013 HBO film called “Phil Spector,” written and directed by David Mamet starred Al Pacino as Spector and Dame Helen Mirren as a defense lawyer. The film depicted the murder and trials. Spector was also known for his Wall of Sound production method. He worked with a number of huge stars in the 60s, including producing “The Beatles” album “Let It Be,” in 1970.

Rose’s Scoop: Vince Vaughn has been confirmed to star alongside Colin Farrell, in the second season of “True Detective.” HBO has said the eight-episode drama series will begin production in California this autumn. Vaughn, will co-star as Frank, a criminal whose move into legitimate business is disrupted by a business partner’s murder.
