SAN FRANCISCO—Officials from the San Francisco Police Department are looking for five suspects who assaulted and robbed a driver at a stoplight on Thursday, May 16.

According to reports, the incident transpired in San Francisco’s Mission District at around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of 25th and Capp Streets.

The driver has been identified as a 35-year-old male, who was approached by the suspects who left him unconscious, as they took his property. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening head injuries he sustained.

Authorities have described the suspects as males in their 20s. Anyone with information on the suspects or the incident is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444.
