SAN FRANCISCO—A fatal car crash occurred on Interstate Highway 280 nearPacificaat approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 30.
The man killed in the crash was John Paul Ueber, a 32-year-old chef atSan Francisco’s Greens Restaurant.
Ueber worked under executive chef Annie Somerville at that vegetarian restaurant located at Fort Mason.
The car crash happened on northbound I-280 inDaly Cityright near Highway 1.
It was reported that Ueber lost control of his vehicle—a Honda SUV—and hit the center divide, causing his vehicle to overturn.
Ueber was pronounced dead at the scene.
