HOLLYWOOD—It was definitely worth the wait. Nothing succeeds like success. Adele’s third studio album, “25,” has been available since last week and its already burning up the charts. According to Billboard, Adele’s whopping 900,000-plus copies sold through iTunes Store on its first day. According to published reports, the current first week U.S. sales record is held by boy band N’Sync whose 2000 record “No Strings Attached,” opened with 2.4 million copies. She surpassed NSync’s record as of November 25.

How high can “25,” go? Well, the album shipped 36 million copies to retailers, with no limit on the number of digital copies it can sell. Some music insiders are suggesting that “25” will set at least 2.5 million copies in its first week. It will be officially known on November 29, it could even top 3 million. So why do fans love her so much? According to fan, Christopher Limoncelli, “I think that “Hello,” is the best song of 2015, it got like 200 million views on YouTube. It’s killing the charts. She has a great, unique voice and is a likeable artist. I can feel the meaning and passion in her songs.”

No doubt that it will become the best-selling album of 2015, pulling ahead of Taylor Swift’s “1989,” which has sold 1,742,000 copies so far this year, besides the 3,661,000 it sold in the last nine weeks of 2014. This wil be the third time Adele has had the best-selling album of the year.

Adele’s “25,” follows “21,” the certified-diamond, top-selling album of the 21st century so far, has no chance of failure. Adele has assembled a stunning array of collaborators for “25,” from Bruno Mars and Ryan Tedder to the unstoppable Swedish hit makers Max Martin and Shellback, as well as her longtime songwriting partner Paul Epworth, who won an Oscar with her for writing “Skyfall.”

The sensational album is well-crafted with piano ballad melancholy “Remedy,” and “Hello,” comes off with raw unexpectedly emotion. Then the stunning “When We Were Young,” throwsback a blend of soul with a killer note that puts any worries about her voice to rest. Co-written by Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr., “When We Were Young” shows that even 20-somethings reminisce, but also cements her multi-generational appeal as a soulful singer. Adele’s “25” is so powerful, emotional and strong that she gets you at “Hello.”

With the album “25,” coming right on the heels of Justin Bieber’s “Purpose,” this will be the first time that two albums have debuted with sales over 500k or more. Bieber who is on top of the world with his current hits is saying “Sorry” once again. The singer canceled a planned Late Show with Stephen Colbert appearance, as well as, reportedly, his engagement in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26. Bieber issued an apology on Twitter, just hours before his appearance. Though the recording star didn’t elaborate on his last-minute cancellation, he intimated that the motivation was personal in a cryptic tweet sent directly to the host.
