HOLLYWOOD—Looks like Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Johnny Galecki have been given more buck for their “Bang.”  A standoff over salaries for the stars of “The Big Bang Theory” has been resolved and production on the eight season, stalled because of the negotiations, will begin soon.

According to the Hollywood Reporter and Variety, the three main stars of the hit television show are thought to have tripled their salaries and will earn around $1 million an episode. They made $325,000 an episode before the standoff. Not to shabby! The trio have signed three-year deals, meaning they will stay with the comedy until the end of its 10th season. Production on the 24-episode, season eight of “Big Bang” is likely to resume this week after a one-week delay over the salary dispute, both Hollywood news outlets reported.

The show which focuses on the lives of a group of scientists and their wannabe actress friend Penny (Cuoco) is a hit that averaged about 20 million viewers an episode last season, making it the most-watched comedy in America. The show has been nominated for the best comedy series Emmy, and Parsons is a three-time Emmy winner for his role as Sheldon. Parsons is nominated again this year in the Lead Actor in a comedy series category. The Emmys will be handed out on August 25.

Television and Broadway star Kristen Chenoweth turned to Twitter last Monday asking fans to pray for her. The star is suffering from a mystery malady and complained via Twitter that she was unable to move and had numbness and tingling in her arm. After undergoing an MRI, she said she was waiting on the results, but thanked everyone for their good wishes. ”No matter what, I will be ok.” Yes, even celebrities go through MRI’s and worry just like us mere mortals.

It’s always a great thing, when celebrities give back. Victoria Beckham is giving away 600 pieces of her clothing to raise money and awareness for mothers living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. The fashion designer and former pop star’s Dolce and Gabbana dress, worn for the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, is just one item to go under the hammer. The money raised will go to mothers2mothers-a charity that works to prevent the transmission of HIV from mothers to babies in nine countries. The OUTNET.com, an online fashion outlet will host the private online sale from August 20 to August 25. Sub-Saharan Africa is still the region hardest hit by HIV, with 24.7 million HIV-positive people in 2013. Last November, both David and Victoria Beckham sold their unwanted clothes at a Red Cross charity shop in London in aid of victims of the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

How cute! Chloe Grace Moretz is reportedly dating Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest son of the power couple David and Victoria, Usmagazine.com reports. She’s 17, he’s 15. A source tells the website about their dates, “They don’t drive, so they had to be chaperoned around.”

Some are dating, while others are splitting. Singer Joe Jonas has split from his girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler, a model and graphic designer, after 20 months of dating, his rep tells Usmagazine.com.

Rose’s Scoop: Another one bites the dust. Nicole Murphy decided to split with television personality and former New York Giants player Michael Strahan on the eve of his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last week, because she believed he cheated on her, TMZ.com reports. The couple dated for seven years, about a year after she split from Eddie Murphy after 20 years of marriage.
