SAN FRANCISCO—Reports surfaced on Monday, January 23, that two armed suspects invaded a home in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on January 20, just after 11:00 a.m., according to the SFPD.

San Francisco News spoke with Officer Giselle Talkoff from the San Francisco Police Department’s (SFPD) Office of Media Relations Department about the incident.

Talkoff shared that the invasion occurred on the 900 block of Laguna Street in the Western Addition neighborhood. The resident, an unnamed 66 year-old Hispanic woman, heard a knock at her front door. Upon opening it, she faced two suspects, an African0American man and an African-American woman. The ages of the suspects have not yet been disclosed to the public.

The male suspect punched the victim in the face, and both pushed her into the kitchen. The male suspect then held the victim’s cane against her body and threatened her with a knife.

Talkoff informed the San Francisco News that the female suspect attempted to search the victim’s home for items to steal. Not details have been released on any items stolen from the home.

No information regarding arrested have been disclosed to the public. The SFPD are still investigating the case.
