HOLLYWOOD—Well, well, let the games begin on Tyler Perry’s “If Loving You is Wrong.” Last week Randal learned the game-changing secret that he is the father of Alex’s baby. This week’s episode ‘Time For a Cigar’ saw the games between Brad and Randal intensify. What a treat to see Randal finally come face-to-face with his son, all the while, Alex continued to be in denial about her feelings for Randal. She continues to forget that it takes to people to cheat.

The drama only intensified when Brad showed up to the hospital egging his wife to allow Randal to hold his child. Brad has become a bit of an ass lately, but can we blame him after the betrayal his wife delivered to him. Randal was literally fuming when he heard Brad’s voice; the guy wouldn’t even face his former BFF. When Brad taunted Randal with the video of him and Marcie having sex, Randal was close to unleashing hell on Alex’s hubby and a fight broke out in the hospital room that left Alex fleeing with her newborn.

Brad beat Randal senseless; it was as if Randal didn’t even put up a fight. What goes around comes around. Eddie continued his mission to protect the truth from getting out, by asking the new operator Claudia what she knew. Claudia was good at avoiding giving Eddie a direct answer about what she saw in the video. Lushion was aware that Eddie was up to something.

The secret rendezvous between Faun and Joey continued as the duo decided to get hot and heavy at the parent’s house. He was slightly taken aback to see that his new girl toy is living the lavish life. Ramsey decided to make his move on Kelly who was seen staring into space while sitting in her car. I mean fans of the show were well aware these two would become an item after they came face-to-face, but one minor problem still exists with Travis.

Ramsey and Kelly had an in-depth conversation about all the ins and outs in the neighborhood. As the duo said goodbye, a kiss that seemed like years in the making was interrupted by Travis who was jealous beyond jealous. Kelly toyed with Travis’ emotions, but she should be careful because it looks like Travis might have a violent temper. Just when the lovebirds thought they were in a good spot, Faun and Joey had their moment ruined by her father who burst into her room with a shotgun ready to shoot. Natalie will not be happy when she learns what her son has been up to.

Miss Louise is going to stick around a bit longer, just as Randal arrived home with a battered face, but a smile that worried Marcie and his mother. Perhaps the fact that he has a son and neither of them has a clue about it? Lushion decided to have a chat with Pete about his new duties on the bike patrol. Pete has failed to realize how dangerous being a cop is, as he alluded to something ‘big’ he is working on. That caused Lushion to worry about what Pete was planning; Lou did his best to talk some sense into Pete to no success.

Natalie was in for a whirlwind when she learned that Mr. Kim fired not just Joey, but also her! This woman was livid and she slapped some sense into her son. She decided to teach her son a lesson and kicked him out of her house. Ben continued to do his best to try to get closer to Pete who was the least bit interested. Pete decided to have a conversation with the Captain about Eddie’s dirty dealings, but per usual obstacles stood in the way. Looks like Steven might have some dirty connections in the police department as well.

Ramsey paid a visit to Marcie and jumped the gun by noting she just gave birth to a baby boy, which left Marcie floored. For this to be a penultimate episode, it sure seemed like a finale. Next week’s 90-minute season finale looks like lives will forever be shattered. Until next Tuesday “If Loving You is Wrong” love birds.
