Jewelry Heist Rocks Downtown

SAN FRANCISCO—Armed robbers busted into a Downtown San Francisco jewelry store on Wednesday, February 4, fleeing with an undisclosed bounty of valuables.

The Tiffany & Co. retailer, located at the Westfield San Francisco on 5th and Market Streets, was stormed by a group of suspects who ordered employees and customers to lie on the ground.

The armed suspects then forced an employee to walk around the store opening display cases and empty their contents into the possession of the burglars.

None present were harmed in the robbery, a fact confirmed by Westfield in a public statement: “No one was harmed and we are working closely with the San Francisco Police Department in their investigation of the incident.”

Police do not have available surveillance footage of the robbers and details about the suspects have yet to be released.
