SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department arrested a suspect in connection to an October 2018 homicide. The SFPD reported that on October 15, 2018, at approximately 6:36 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person down on the 5100 block of 3rd Street. After arriving on the scene, officers found Lionel Clark, 21, who had been shot and was critically injured. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Homicide investigators started an investigation into Clark’s death and on January 27, authorities served search warrants in connection to the investigation. Based on information received, Joshua Robinson 21, of San Francisco was arrested and charged in the murder of Lionel Clark. Robinson was already in police custody at the San Francisco County Jail at the time of his arrest on unrelated charges.

Due to pending identification matters, Robinson’s booking photo is not being released at this time. The SFPD is still investigating the case.
