HOLLYWOOD—There are so many things to do in the month of June. One of the summer movies to watch is “The Bling Ring.” Sofia Coppola’s latest film is based on a true story about L.A. teenagers who burglarized celebrity mansions. The film has crazy-amazing fashion and a killer soundtrack that will be released on June 14. The film stars Emma Watson, Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga and Nina Siemaszko.

A big day for movies, June 14 brings us the release of “Man of Steel.” Superman one more time, now directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan and written by David S. Goyer. Summer is really the perfect time to go to the movies. A hard-luck story is seen in the film “Vehicle 19,” about a parolee (Paul Walker) who picks up the wrong rental car at the airport and finds himself the target of a police search; it seems there’s an extra passenger in his trunk he didn’t know about. The film stars Naima Mclean and is directed by Mukunda Michael Dewil.

One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is “The Wolverine,” due out on June 26. The latest entry in the “X-Men” franchise sends the metal-clawed superhero (Hugh Jackman) to Japan. Summer is also the time to read books. Try novels, “The Engagements” by J. Courtney Sullivan, “Summer People” by Elin Hilderbrand, a juicy peach of a summer tome. Though it’s been out for a few years, its still a wonderful love story, the kind that you read then recommend to many friends.
