HOLLYWOOD—It may seem like eons from now, but before you know it, another superhero blockbuster will hit movie screens.

It was announced that director Zack Synder who will helm 2016’s “Batman Vs. Superman” will follow-up that picture with a Justice League film, bringing all of the superheroes of DC into one movie. Yes, that means Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Aquaman could all possibly appear in a movie together.

Warner Bros. president of production Greg Silverman informed The Wall Street Journal in an interview that the studio does indeed have plans for an ensemble piece. Marvel’s 2012 ensemble piece “The Avengers” broke box-office records debuting to more than $200 million opening weekend. Stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot are all expected to return for the ensemble piece.

An exact date for the movie has not been released, but according to reports the movie could hit multiplexes in 2018.
