LOS ANGELES— On Wednesday, March 27, the Los Angeles Lakers won on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Amid controversy about the last possession of the game whether Ricky Rubios three point attempt was a foul or not.

The Los Angeles Lakers get the victory 120-117. The Lakers were without their defensive stopper and starting small forward Metta World Peace due to an injury.

Kobe Bryant had 31 points and seven assists for the game to lead the Lakers to the win. Dwight Howard had 25 points, 16 rebounds, five blocks and five steals to contribute to the win. Pau Gasol added 17 points and nine rebounds.

The Lakers were coming off a three game losing streak, but have another streak against the Timberwolves, a 22 consecutive winning streak against Minnesota. Bryant scored the basket to put the Los Angeles Lakers ahead with only three seconds to go.

Minnesota Timberwolves were without their all star Kevin Love who has been sidelined the majority of the season. Love tried to make a playoff push this season but succumbed to injuries. Ricky Rubio had 13 points and seven assists; Nikola Pekovic had 19 points and 16 rebounds for the Timberwolves. The Lakers next travel to Milwaukee on Thursday.
