SAN FRANCISCO—An arrest has been made in connection to the woman found dead on Saturday, June 22, in the Mission District.

According to the SF Gate, at around 8:22 a.m., a man entered the San Francisco Police Department’s Mission Station stating he believed his friend may have killed someone.

Officers investigated two San Francisco locations and discovered a woman’s body at a residence on the 500 block of Alvarado Street. A man was arrested on the 500 block of Alvarado Street, just three miles away. The suspect is facing murder charges.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victim or the suspect. Anyone with information related to the crime is asked to contact the SFPD Mission District Station.
