SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department have arrested a man, after the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit was made aware in September who was trying to meet and have sexual contact with a  14-year-old girl via social media.

During the investigation it was determined that the suspect, Bryan Rosenthal, 45, of Vallejo, attempted to send graphic images to the child. The SFPD reported that investigators learned that Rosenthal operates a Vallejo-based children’s charity.

On September 11, Rosenthal was arrested by SFPD Investigators when he treid to meet with and have sexual contact with the child in San Francisco. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail for arranging a meeting with a minor for sexual contact, going to an arranged meeting with a minor for sexual contact, sending harmful material to a minor, communication with a minor for the purpose of engaging in lewd and lascivious behavior, possession of child pornography and producing child pornography.

While Rosenthal was being arrested, a cellphone was seized.  A brief review of his cellphone revealed that Rosenthal was having sexually explicit chats and conversations with other underage minors, and was attempting to meet several of them to have sex.
