SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, October 29, an adult male was rescued from the Balboa Park BART Station after he got stuck between the train and the platform. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene to provide assistance to rescue the victim.

The SF Bart Alert issued an alert via their Twitter account noting that the station was shut down at around 9:21 a.m.

“Delay developing at BALB in SFO, MLBR, DALY and East Bay dirs due to a major medical emergency,” tweeted SF Bart Alert.

After rescuing the victim, the station re-opened at about 11:29 a.m. There were 20 minute delay due to an earlier police investigation in the region.
