SAN FRANCISCO—A man who was shot in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco on Sunday, June 30 has been identified as Terrence Wilson, 30, according to the city’s medical examiner.

At around 1:04 a.m., officers from the San Francisco Police Department arrived in the area of Geary Boulevard and Steiner Street after receiving a call about a potential shooting.

Authorities discovered Wilson at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, but no additional details about the suspects or the vehicle have been disclosed to the public.

Officer Adam Lobsinger stated in SFPD’s press release: “SFPD’s Night Investigations Unit and Homicide Detail are actively investigating the incident. Anyone with any information about this incident is encouraged to contact the San Francisco Police Department.”
