SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, November 29, the San Francisco Police Department issued a public statement noting that 13 year-old E’Laya Brown has been found. Brown was last seen at her home in San Francisco and was reported missing at 10:30 p.m. on November 28. Authorities indicated that she was known to frequent areas around Fairfax Avenue.
At 12:17 p.m., officers located Brown, but would not divulge where and when she was found or her condition. Officials thanks the public for their assistance to locate the missing teen.
According to the California Department of Justice, there were a total of 47,485 female children kidnapped in 2017.
