SAN FRANCISCO—A teenage suspect stabbed a woman in the abdomen during a robbery in San Francisco’s Inner Mission neighborhood on May 28.

Police say that the attack took place at approximately 11:15 p.m. near the crossing of 24th and York Streets near San Francisco General Hospital.

After approaching the victim and demanding her wallet, the teenage suspect stabbed the her in the abdomen with a knife, fleeing the scene before law enforcement could arrive to the scene.

The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital with injuries that have been termed severe, but not life-threatening.
