HELLO AMERICA!—No matter where you go in the world, when it is known that you’re from the U.S., the first question one gets is, “You live in Hollywood? When introduced to model, actor Alex Shaye, it was the same thing. Even though he has been making quite a name for himself as a global model, he had tremendous aspirations to do something special as a film actor as well. This was something that one had to quickly agree with because he had everything to win you over when seeing him on the screen.

“I love a film with exciting story-lines, involving beautiful women and challenges of survival. In other words, a JAMES BOND character would be perfect for me,” he confessed.

Alex admits that he enjoys modeling because it offers an opportunity to travel the world. He enjoys utilizing his ability to speak the languages he seriously studied during his college years. Even though it was a decided challenge, he was able to concentrate on English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German.

“In the kind of work I do,” he offered, “it has been a blessing to communicate with people in their language. It makes it easier to get to know them, how they really feel about the same things as you. I recommend that anyone who is in the arts or any kind of business which has you to deal with people from other countries is quite an advantage, believe me.”

The idea of coming to Hollywood and creating a character like “Bond” based on his type of personality, he believes would be perfect.

“Then too, I enjoy exploring the mysteries and challenges of life. Of course, working with beautiful women is always special but it has to involve outrageous, beyond belief stories, too. I want people who might watch the film I’m in to barely able to stay in their seats.”

He also enjoys all types of sports and quickly pointed out that he likes basketball, especially American Lakers. And when there is time, he looks for a good art exhibit somewhere to view historical paintings such as Picasso and Van Gogh.

Shayer admitted that he had tremendous respect for actors such as Audrey Hepburn, Errol Flynn, and even Meryl Streep.

“They represent talent and purpose, it is so easy to see and film how they prepared themselves as artists; this is one reason why the world look forward to viewing anything they did. This is one reason Meryl Streep is so special as an artist today. I want to make a difference in the life of people, make them feel alive and anxious to explore the next day.”
