SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department arrested 3 suspects in connection to a jewelry store robbery that transpired on August 8. According to a press release from the SFPD, at approximately 9:15 a.m. a jewelry robbery transpired in the Northern Police District. The culprits forced their way into the business and held employees at gunpoint requesting high-end jewelry. The victims were held hostage, as the suspects stole merchandise.

The suspects left the scene in a vehicle that was waiting for them. Officers and investigators from the Northern Station responded to the scene and quickly gathered information and evidence. Due to keen observation by patrol officers, the getaway vehicle was located unoccupied several blocks away.

Officers and Investigators from Northern Station, Central Station, Special Investigations Division, Gang Task Force, and Patrol Bureau Task Force assisted with the case. Michael Alexis, 52, of Oakland, Marshall Harris, 53, of San Francisco and Ray Hall, 60, of San Francisco were arrested on August 15 after search warrants were served. During these searches, officers seized evidence related to the jewelry store robbery and a firearm that was reported stolen from San Francisco.

The case was presented to the San Francisco District Attorney’s office. All three suspects were charged for Robbery, Elder Abuse, and Kidnapping. Alexis was charged for Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
