SAN FRANCISCO—The NFL Draft is coming up and teams have been competing for first, second and overall picks. The NFL mock draft is a draft of the favorite San Francisco 49ers picks. The team finished the season with bad management, bad publicity and loses where the team needs to use their NFL picks carefully.

It is expected that the SF 49ers are taking a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft. However, others have a different idea on what the 49ers need to fix their team.

Steve Palazzolo of Pro Football Focus released his latest mock draft on Wednesday. Instead of going for the quarterback route, which is the popular choice Palazzolo believes the SF 49ers should select Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster with thier first pick.

“San Francisco needs to tighten up its primary weakness from a year ago, which was the running game,” said Peter Panacy. Foster’s career through college is impressive. He was voted the SEC’s Defensive Player of the Year, with 12 tackles as a freshmen 2013, and 22 stops as a sophomore before becoming the primary linebacker during his junior year at the school.
