SAN FRANCISCO—One person was killed and several others were injured during a shooting on Saturday, March 23. The San Francisco Police Department reported the shooting occurred on the 1000 block of Fillmore Street. Officers arrived on the scene to find several people suffering from gunshot wounds.

The shooting transpired around 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of Eddy Street and Fillmore Street near downtown San Francisco. The SF Chronicle reported on Sunday, March 24 that the man who died on the scene was a 25-year-old male from San Leandro. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public.

By 10:25 p.m., one of the five individuals wounded were “reportedly in critical condition at a nearby hospital,” stated information from a live stream via San Francisco Citizen App. According to footage taken from the scene, the suspected shooter fled in a black Cadillac and was possibly still armed.
