SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department announced on Monday, August 5, that they are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect stealing packages from people’s porches and doorsteps.

The SFPD reported on July 17, at around 8:56 a.m., a package theft was reported to officers on Iris Avenue, located in the Laurel Heights area of the Richmond District.

The victim was sent a notification stating that a package was delivered to their door, but after searching for the package and not finding anything, they contacted authorities.

Police obtained the surveillance footage from the victim’s personal surveillance system and received this video evidence. They are asking the public to help identify the suspect.
