SAN FRANCISCO—Pauline’s Pizza Parlour has listed their building for sale on Craigslist. The pizzeria and wine bar has listed the business at a starting cost of $150,000, with negotiable leasing terms. The restaurant is located off the corner of 16th and Valencia Streets in the Mission District.

Owner, Sidney Weinstein, opened the restaurant with her husband in 1985, focusing on thin-crusted pizza with organic ingredients (some from a garden plot in Berkeley and the rest from Star Canyon Ranch), two different salads, and homemade butterscotch pudding and ice cream flavors. The SF Gate states that Weinstein is turning 70  this coming year and is ready to “pass the torch.”

Real estate agent, Jeff Appenrodt of Laurel Reality, says the approximately 5,000 square foot pizzeria is valuable due to its location and set-up.

According to reports, over a dozen people have called for the listing since it was posted on December 4, including prospective buyers from Los Angeles. Many of these callers are business owners interested in opening an additional “sister” pizza place. The restaurant is equipped with pizza ovens, tables and chairs.

The listing shows that the lease length could be negotiated and possibly settled for a long-term contract. The establishment is located at 260 Valencia Street and can be seen by appointment only by calling (415) 641-1500.
