SAN FRANCISCO—A woman was struck and killed by a truck driver on Thursday, October 31 around 3:26 p.m. The collision occurred in the Mission District on 19th Street and South Van Ness Avenue.
The 69-year-old woman has been identified as Pilsoo Seong. She was transported to a local hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries, but later died.
San Francisco Police Department spokesman Officer Robert Rueca spoke to Mission Local stating:
“The driver and the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with our investigation. No arrest was made nor is an arrest pending.”
