BEL AIR—On Sunday, June 8, police responded to call at 6:30 a.m. of a prowler being seen on the property of Sandra Bullock’s Bel Air home located on the 1200 block of Angelo Drive.

The LAPD’s Media Relations department informed Canyon News that the prowler was considered armed and dangerous. Canyon News spoke to Lieutenant Andrew Neiman for additional information about the incident.

“West LA officers responded to a hot prowl call in the 1200 block of Angelo Dr.,” Neiman told Canyon News.

“The resident was home alone when she heard the suspect enter the residence through the back door. She locked herself in her safe room and called 911…Officers took the suspect into custody at scene without incident. The suspect has been identified as 39-year-old Joshua Corbett, a resident of Glendale, California. [Corbett] was booked for 459 PC-Residential Burglary.”

Neiman was unclear as to whether the resident was Bullock or not.
