SAN FRANCISCO—A 27-year-old San Francisco resident was fatally shot on Monday, October 14, in front of the Boyd Hotel in the Tenderloin District neighborhood.

The victim has been identified as D’Quan Domino. The shooting occurred before 3 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department reported. 

Officers found Domino in suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound when they arrived at the scene. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died from injuries sustained.

Officials taped off Jones Street between Golden Gate Avenue and McAllister Street to conduct their investigation. No details on a suspect or suspects involved in the shooting has been disclosed to the public. 

The investigation is ongoing and the SFPD is asking anyone who has information on the shooting to contact the SFPD tip line at (415) 575-4444.
