HOLLYWOOD—After last week’s demure season premiere, “Revenge” decided to amp up the intensity with episode two, ‘Disclosure.’ We’ve all known for a few months that David Clarke (David Tupper) is alive, but he came face-to-face with his nemesis Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) this week.  So was it the happy reunion that we all expected? Not quite.  I was almost certain the presumed dead David, would really want to stick it to the woman who was instrumental in destroying his life, but he picked up where they left off.

David did his best to get his former lover to confess the truth to him, which of course
Victoria being

Victoria lied through her teeth as she feared the worse could happen to her at any given time.  I’m still reeling with how evident

Victoria has the upper edge over David? Or is he just allowing her to think this? When he took her back to his dilapidated bunker to see his life for the past 20 years she thought captivity was certainly in her future. I mean has this woman really paid for her past misdeeds; not single bit.

While Vicky might have the heartstrings of David under her control, what will she do when it explodes in her face as it evidently will?  David’s primary concern seems to be protecting his daughter Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) who continues her downward spiral into dark territories. Yes,

Charlotte has been through a lot, she lost the love of her life, a child, nearly died and was kidnapped by her own sister. What more could she take? Well seeing her boy toy Gideon cheating on her was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

***image2***Yep, she decided it was time to end her life, but not if Emily (Emily VanCamp) had anything to say. She did her best to convince her ‘sis’ that there was more to live for in life, but that only pushed Charlotte closer to the edge, thankfully Jack’s (Nick Wechsler) partner tackled the troubled youth before it was too late. In the midst of that craziness, Charlotte continued to throw stones at the two people who have consistently attempted to steer her right, Emily and Jack, which prompted Emily Throne aka Amanda Clarke to reveal all to her sister.

I didn’t expect Emily to spill the beans so soon, but she laid out everything in an attempt to bond with her sister, instead it only infuriated her even more. She gave a hard dose of reality to Em’s who never expected such a negative response. What goes around comes around. To prove it she shattered Emily’s most prized possession, her infinity box.

Charlotte wasn’t the only person having a bad day as Daniel (Joshua Bowman) found himself at the mercy of Gideon once again, but just as Danny boy thought he turned the tables on his enemy he soon realized that Gideon still had the upper hand as he threatened his Margaux (Karine Vanasse) to abide by his rules or else. That threat seemed to light a fire under the docile Margaux who planted cocaine in her brother’s bag just as he was about to catch a flight. While Marguax celebrated victory, Gideon seemed to be plotting revenge with the look on his face. To bask in her victory, the magazine auteur celebrated with a love making session with Daniel. Wonder how long this relationship will last?

Back to Victoria and David, at a local diner the former flames continued to hash out their differences, as he assured her he only held on hope with the thought that she didn’t betray him as he suspected for years.  She of course agreed with his every word, just as she guarded herself with a steak knife. Just when Emily thought

Charlotte had turned the other cheek, her downward spiral escalated when she knocked out her big sis and lit the Stowaway on fire. Yep,

Charlotte has become her big sister. While we know Emily won’t die, the bigger question is just who will come to her rescue?

As the episode concluded,

Victoria used a bit of knowledge to her advantage about the truth of David’s other daughter Amanda Clarke. She decided to omit that factoid to her lover and set his sights on the woman responsible for her misery: Emily Throne. The

Victoria, she is quite wicked, but would David really murder his own flesh in blood. I can’t help, but suspect he knows Emily is Amanda, why he was in her house of course. Can’t wait to see what transpires when Victoria and Charlotte compare notes on their new enemy. Until next Sunday “Revenge” lovers!
