SAN FRANCISCO—After the first successful Application Programming Interfaces (API) conference in New York in February 2013, API has announced their second conference will take place in San Francisco from October 23 through October 25.

The conference will be held at the Parc55 Hotel near Union Station and will be one of the largest ever dedicated to APIs, according to the release.

The conference will include keynote speakers, panels and breakout sessions where speakers can “share strategic and technical insights on how the operations of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are changing the face of the digital business,” according to the release. Some of the themed sessions include API Design, Marketing, Scalability, Security, Mashups, Tools, Business Models and other key topics.

Some key speakers at the event include the following:

  • Daniel Jacobson, Netflix
  • Laura Heritage, IBM
  • John Musser, Programmable Web
  • Oren Michaels, Mashery
  • Steven Wilmott, 3scale

Not only will there be several key speakers, but Traffic & Weather, the leading API podcast, will broadcast the conference live.
