SAN FRANCISCO—An alleged serial groper, terrorizing pedestrians of Nob Hill since August, has produced a sketch for the San Francisco Polcie Department to release to the public.

The sketch pictures a man in his 20s or 30s. He is described as either light-skinned Middle Eastern or dark-skinned Caucasian. He has brown, wavy hair with loose curls and a dark brown beard. He is approximately six feet tall and was last seen wearing a green play button-up shirt, dark blue jeans, and a dark, puffy vest.

Authorities believe Wednesday's assault to be one in a series dating back to August.
Authorities believe Wednesday’s assault to be one in a series dating back to August.

The alleged predator has been operating in the Nob Hill area since summer time, approaching female victims that are walking alone. Authorities have indicated the suspect would approach the victims from behind and grope their breasts.

In past attacks, victims have been unable to get a clear view of the attacker’s appearance, where he would flee the scene before his appearance could be discerned.

On December 3, the groper became more aggressive, allegedly attacking a woman from the front, giving authorities a clear profile of his appearance.

The attack took place as the woman was walking on the 1200 block of Pine Street, near Leavenworth.

Authorities suspect that Wednesday’s attack is an indication that the predator is becoming more brazen, and dangerous to the public.

The SFPD Special Victims Unit is asking anyone who has been attacked or with information regarding the suspect to contact the SVU at (415) 553-9225.
