SAN FRANCISCO—An unnamed 45-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot near San Francisco General Hospital on Monday, January 9, the San Francisco Police Department noted.

According to SFPD Officer Giselle Talkoff, authorities responded to the incident around 2:00 p.m., near 25th and Hampshire Streets. The exact location of the shooting is not yet known.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated. No arrests have been made as authorities are still investigating the case.

According to reports, an unidentified man and woman allegedly drove by the shooting location in a gray truck and were in possession of a hand gun. Police are currently searching for both individuals. The name of the victim has not been disclosed to the public.
