SAN FRANCISCO—In the past week, the San Francisco Police Department Tenderloin Station made two separate arrests for unrelated incidents involving suspects armed with metal pipes in aggravated assaults.  

On Saturday, December 14, authorities broke up a dangerous fight in the Tenderloin District. Officers arrested James Reposa, 49, in the SOMA area.

On Thursday, December 13, officers responded to the scene of an aggravated assault with a metal pipe at Turk and Jones Street.  Officers were able to identify, Lafayette Prince, 36, as the prime suspect in the assault. On Monday, December 17, Prince was taken into custody by officers from the SFPD Narcotics and SFPD Southern.
