SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a homicide suspect. On September 9, 2017, at approximately 2:50 a.m. officers from the Police Department responded to the scene of a shooting near Larkin and Myrtle Street. According to a press release from the SFPD, upon arriving on the scene, they found Anthony “Bubbles” Torres suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from injuries he sustained.

The SFPD Homicide Detail conducted an investigation that led to the identity of the suspect as Hieu Trung Nguyen. An arrest warrant has been issued with a bail of $15 million. Hieu Trung is described as a 30 year-old, male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has dark hair; dark eyes, and is a resident of San Francisco resident.

Nguyen should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call the SFPD 24 Hour Tip Line at (415) 575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
