SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Gay Pride celebration was held from June 26-June 28 where over 1 million people attended the festivities. Shots were fired on Saturday, at around 6 p.m. near the Civic Center Plaza.

A 64-year-old man was caught in the crossfire of a shooting. The victim was hospitalized, but is expected to make a full recovery. According to reports, several men were seen arguing just outside of the celebration when one pulled out a gun, fired, and struck the innocent bystander.
Six suspects were detained and questioned by authorities. Police suspect that the shooting was not related to the Gay Pride Parade.
