SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department arrested a suspect in connection to threats made against a San Francisco Unified School District Administrator. According to the SFPD website, on February 27 at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Franklin Street regarding an adult suspect who made threats against a SFUSD administrator.

The suspect made violent threats against Rooftop Elementary School. Out of precaution, Rooftop Elementary School was placed on lockdown, where the students remained inside the building and all outside doors were locked. The suspect fled on foot from Franklin Street prior to the arrival of police.

The SFPD Special Investigations Division (SID) conducted an investigation, leading to the identity of the suspect. Police arrested Rawneesha Roya, 36, of San Francisco on the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue. She was booked on two felony charges of threats.
